The bible contains no definition of God, but contains many allusions to His being and attributes.- God is love. (1 John 4:16)
- God is spirit (John 4:24),
- infinite in power (Dan. 4:35),
- complete in wisdom (Psalm 147:5, Col. 2:3),
- absolutely truthful (Heb. 6:18),
- perfectly Holy (Lev. 11:44).
- He has revealed himself through nature (Rom. 1:20)
- and through His Son (Heb. 1:1-2).
- There is only one true God (Deut 6:4), eternal, transcendent, apart from anything made.
